Happy birthday to me! Happy sweet sixteen, err…twenty –six.
What could be more exciting to celebrate my birthday than to take a mind
bugling exam? Yey! I really don’t have many plans yesterday since it’s a work
day and the interview for ECC will be on that day. I am really grateful for the
opportunity to be included the list for ECC position. I think it is really a
reminder for me to take on more mature, greater and scarier responsibilities
since that I am not getting any younger. Another year, a perfect opportunity to
take on a newer and better version of me, another year to work on the past
mistakes and be ready to make a change for what life brings me.
How time flies! It’s been another year had passed---another
year to celebrate life. I get really teary eyed when I woke up in the morning
and my mother come up to me, hugged me and greeted me. I am so happy that I
want to cry. As I come to work people are all smiling and greeted me. My family
and DOLE who welcome me as a part of the family what really made my day really
special. Life may be hard but having them in my life ready to support me had
made my life really meaningful.
I am thankful for God, of course, who had given me life, who
had given me strength when I am really tired and gave me hope when I times get
tough and I had wanted to give up. I am thankful for my family who always
wanted the best for me, who always there to guide me and support me even if I
am always stubborn. I am grateful for my circle of circle of friends who really
makes my day more colourful. It is so overwhelming that all the people that are
really close to my heart had given me more reason to celebrate. More than the
gifts I had received, the foods, dress, flowers and greetings, I think what had
made my day more special is the feeling I get from these people that I am
loved. Thank you! Thank you!
